Delete your account and data

1. Delete your account in the app

This is the fastest route and it needs no email:

• Open 2Mind and go to Settings.
• In the Account section, choose “Delete account”.
• Confirm by typing the word the screen asks for, then confirm again.

The account is closed, and your entries, attachment references, transcripts, chat conversations, tags, collections, summaries and to-do items are queued for deletion. Signing out does not delete anything — only this step does.

2. Delete your account without the app

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, write to privacy@use2mind.com from the email address on the account.

We may ask you one question to confirm the account is yours. We do not ask for more than we need, and we never ask for your password. We then delete the account and its data within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done.

3. Delete some things, keep the account

You do not have to delete everything at once. Inside the app you can delete a single entry, a to-do or a whole collection, and the rest of your account stays as it is.

On Android, the media you attached lives on your device only. There is no copy of it on our servers to delete; removing it from your device is a matter of deleting the file or uninstalling the app.

4. What is deleted, and when

When an account is deleted we remove the account itself and the personal data attached to it: your email address and credentials, the text, transcripts and extracted text of your entries, chat conversations, tags, collections, summaries, to-do items, learning signals, and any MCP connections and their credentials. On iPhone and Mac this also includes the media files stored in your account.

• Entries and account content: deleted within 30 days.
• Copies in our backups: expire within the same 30 days.
• MCP connections and credentials: revoked and deleted with the account.
• Crash and diagnostic reports (iPhone and Mac only): kept up to 12 months and not linked to your account once it is gone.
• Support correspondence: kept up to 24 months, as the Privacy Policy states.
• Purchase transaction records: kept for the period tax and accounting law requires. Those records are held by Apple or Google under their own policies, and we keep only the minimum the law demands.

5. What this does not delete

Anything you exported or shared yourself — a Markdown file you saved, a link you sent someone — is outside our control and stays where you put it.

Data Apple or Google hold about your purchase or your account with them is governed by their policies. Deleting your 2Mind account does not delete your Apple ID or your Google account.

Content your connected AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client) have already received is outside our control; what those providers retain follows their own policies.

On Android, media files on your device stay there until you delete them or uninstall the app.
